Nowadays it seems like anything besides water will put you in the danger zone. Everything is artificial and everything is at least 600 calories (not really but you do have to pay attention). Pay attention to what you drink if you are serious about losing weight quickly because this one is easy to slip up on. I used to “reward” myself with drinks from a local coffee shop and come to find out the drink that I loved was dumping a minimum of 500 calories for a 16 oz cup into my body.

Here is where you will get most of your misinformation on learning how to get flat abs. Seriously, everyone is trying to make a buck in this part of the health industry. From the new super food found in some 3rd world country to fat blocking pills you will find it all. Once again I would like to redirect your attention to some truths about how to get flat abs by eating correctly.
You can read every book in the world written on the perfect diet plan or whatever the case may be but the truth is; in order to successfully get flat abs you must eat plenty of fiber, plenty of greens, quality fruits, and lean meats. That is it, if you can change your diet to what was stated above you can expect to lose weight each week. Will it be the promised 20lb in 2 weeks? More than likely not, but you could expect to lose 1/2 – 1lb a week. Not astronomical by any means but even if you where 52 pounds overweight, next year you could get flat abs and look amazing just by changing your diet.

This is a tough one for a lot of people, mainly due to the fact that we are so used to instant gratification. We hear wonderful stories about losing 20lb in 2 weeks and think “Sign me up for that”. Unfortunately in most cases it is a lie… I’m sorry to tell you this but in order to ramp up your efforts to get flat abs you will need to get off your duff. Exercise is important for releasing toxins, cleansing your body, and burning calories. In order to get flat abs you will want to workout a minimum of 4 days a week and possibly be active for 7 days. Human beings are very physical in nature and we need to exert our energy through physical means; especially if you want to lose weight.
There are tons of books and videos that cover each of these topics in great detail. But the important thing to remember to get flat abs is to make sure that you eat correctly, drink plenty of liquids, and to get moving and exercise your body. I know for a fact that if you combine all 3 of these elements you can get flat abs fast.
